What is HYROX?

HYROX is a fitness race. Whether you want to race against yourself or the thousands of others who attend global HYROX events, it is pitched as a fitness race which everyone, regardless of their age or ability can take part in.

For those who don't want to race, you'll still receive some of the best fitness, strength and conditioning workouts available, while being part of the strong community element that comes with HYROX.

HYROX PFT

The PFT is a standard set of stations which you work through as quickly as you can. Although you're aiming for your total time to be as quick as possible, you can stop and take a breather/pace yourself as you need.

The fittest do it in around 20-35 mins. Those of us who are newer to this and have a lower level of fitness may be looking at around 40-50 minutes. It doesn't matter what your time is - you're setting a benchmark to prove to yourself that your fitness is improving when you come back and do it again!

The PFT

  • 1000m Run (outdoor or treadmill at 2% incline)

  • 50 Burpee Broad Jumps (90 cm)

  • 100 Stationary Lunges (Fully Extended)

  • 1000m Row

  • 30 Push Up (Hand Release)

  • 100 Wallballs (6kg male / 4 kg female)
